The Thunder Roof Basket is the cargo basket we recommend when the load goes beyond what a flat roof or a hard cargo box can handle. Bulky luggage, irregular crates, work gear, camping kit, tools — anything that needs strong tie-downs and edges that hold things in.
It's built from 2mm DKP steel plate, manufactured by laser cutting and CNC bending, and joined with precision welding into a single-piece structure. The finish is electrostatic powder coating — an anti-corrosion layer that holds up to European weather: the basket won't rust through its first winter, or the next.
It mounts directly on the Thunder TRX1, TRX2 or Pro Series cross bars. Available in two sizes: Adventure (80 × 120 cm) for SUVs, wagons and station wagons, and Commercial (100 × 160 cm) for vans and work vehicles.
